Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mrs. Lillie Faye Lewallen, 82, of Commerce who died early Thursday morning at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Stephens County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Holman and Pearl Williams Ayers. Mrs. Lewallen was self-employed having retired from Lewallen's Tot and Teen Shop and was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Commerce. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Felton Lewallen of Commerce; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Billy Parson of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Paulette Lewallen of Commerce; 3 grandsons, Eric Parson of Cumming, Paul Lewallen and Brad Lewallen, both of Commerce; 6 great grandchildren, Ashley, Amber and Braison Lewallen of Commerce, Cayla and Cody Lewallen of Maysville and Nikki Parson of Cumming; sisters, Ann Kennedy of Clarksville, Mary Ensley of Tucker and Pat Lord of Upland, California. Funeral services and committal for Mrs. Lillie Faye Lewallen will be conducted on Saturday at 11 AM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will be in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-9 PM.
