1847 Iowa Census - Wapello County (Anderson, Pleasant and Elias Luallen)

I did look up the Henry Carter because I recall the Carters connected to the Daniel Llewellyns in the 1600's and early 1700's in Virginia, although this was years later.   Here's what I found on him.

Henry Carter was probably the son of Silas and Elizabeth Carter of Wilkes County, North Carolina.   He was born April 25, 1818 Clay County, Kentucky, and died October 23, 1898 Miami County, Kansas.   He married Barbara Carman 1837 in Montgomery County, Indiana.
