For those of you who descend from John Lewallen (born 1812), first sheriff of Scott County, Tennessee, you might want to review this genealogy because both of the families of John Lewallens moved into Bell County, Texas, so there may be some relationship there somewhere, or there may be some confusion of the families if there is no connection.
