Pg.200: April 1852, Ordered by the court that John Childers be appointed overseer of a third class road in room and stead of Emanuel Duncan from the top of Paint Rock hill to Thomas Chambers hands to keep the same in repair.
Ordered by the court that Berry Duncan be appointed overseer of a third class road in room and stead of Thomas "Griffith" from the "ford" of the river near Pleasant Chambers and that he have "Shadrick" Sexton, John Lewallen, Jessie Hix, "Zacharih" Lewallen to work on said road.
