The following is the last paragraph of a paper prepared by Woodland G. Shockley, based on census records of Gloucester County, Virginia, marriage record of Catherine C. Woodland and Thomas E. Johnson, family information from Catherine Woodland Robins, John C. Woodland, and Stanley Woodland. The paper prepared by Mr. Shockley was dated February 1976.
"To recapitulate, Christopher and Catharine Lewellen lived in Gloucester County, Virginia. She may have been a Collier, or perhaps a Page. Christopher and Chatarine had two sons, Christoper born between 1784 and 1794 and another born 1794 to 1800. Christopher senior died between 1794 and 1810. Catharine was born between 1760 and 1770; she died between 1830 and 1840.
"Christopher and Catharine's son, Christopher, married Mary (?) (Page or Collier); they appear to have had three children: a son William F. Lewellen born 1800-1810, a daughter born 1800-1810, and a daughter Catherine C. Lewellin born 1812. Christopher and Mary died between 1812 and 1820.
