Current maps of Wales show the town of "Neath" north of Port Talbot. On historic UK ordinance maps Llantwit Lower is shown as a hamlet near Neath.)

Billie, although the census records report John Llewellyn was b. England 1813, later records report b Wales c. 1813, and his children reported he was b. Wales.

Thank you for posting this for me! Some family trees on Ancestry.com list Sarah Thomas as George Thomas Llewellyn's first wife and mother of John Llewellyn b. 1813.
The second wife on some Ancestry trees is Sarah Rhys; children were William, Ann, David, Thomas, Kent, Rees, and Sarah. Further research is needed to confirm these names.
