1880 - census   Hiram Burnett, age 60, New Jersey,   Mary Lewellen, age 28,   listed as   daughter   (See Bedford County, Virginia)

COOK COUNTY

1892 - Thomas Llewellyn died.   He was born 1855 in South Wales and died Oct. 25.   His wife was Elizabeth Rees.   (See Philadelphia County, PA).   His father was Peter Llewellyn (1824-1893, mother Jane Ann.   He and Elizabeth had two daughters, Elizabeth and Gwendolyn.   Elizabeth died in Ohio.




EFFINGHAM COUNTY

1858 - Edward Lewallen was issued a patent to land Jan. 20.


FAIRFIELD

1899 - Elizabeth A. Luallen died.   She was born 1826

1912 - Culbertson E. Luallen died.   He was born 1830




HAMILTON COUNTY

1851 - Enoch Lewallen was issued a patent July 1 Shawneetown, authority April 20, 1821.   Sale cash entry, 3 Stat. 566, doc. 13218.   The Illinois Public Land Purchases shows Enoch Lewallen purchasing land Aug. 13, 1850.




HANCOCK COUNTY

1863 - Anderson J. Lewallen in Civil War.   Born ca 1825 Virginia; residence Warsaw, Hancock County

1868 - Joseph R. Luallen died (no birth year given on marker)

1885 - Saah A. Lualln died.   (No birth year given on marker)

1877 - Anderson Johnson Lewallen died Jan. 1.   He was born Mar. 30, 1825 in Bedford County, VA.   His wife was Martha Butler (1823-1895).   They had a son William Richard Lewallen (1850-1918) whose wife was Louisa Moncrief.   William Richard Lewallen died 1918 in Wyandotte Co., Kansas   (his father and mother may have been William J. and Susannah (Tyler) Lewallen of Bedford County).



KNOX COUNTY

1863 - Jacob Lewallen was born 24 September.   He and his parents moved to Iowa and in 1885 he was married to Allie Bell Cochran.   He and his family moved to Thomas County, Kansas in 1904 and in 1911 moved to Colby Kansas where he died 1931 at the age of 68, 2 months 26 days.   He had 14 children.


MACON COUNTY


1914 - Rhoda McNanny Luallen died.   She was born 1826

1935 - Thomas E. Luallen died.   He was born 1888



MARION COUNTY

1848 - Elizabeth Llewellyn m. Eli Whaley Jones 28 Nov.  

1853 - Marshall Beach Jones, son of Elizabeth and Eli Jones was born 28 Feb and died 2 Dec 1935 San Angelo TX.




PERKINS COUNTY

1987 - Lawrence E. Lewellin died.   From Rootsweb posting:   Lawrence E. Lewellin,(1898-1987) late of Pekin,Ill. He was the son of Fernando C. Lewellin who was born in 1863 in Whitley County, Kentucky and died about 1902 in McDonough County, Ill. I am looking for Fernando's father James who died about 1868 in KY. He came to KY from Campbell County TN. He is listed on the 1850 Campbell County TN census
