I don't know if this is the same family or not, but my Lewallens in and around Bell County, Texas married into some Goodes and the last name was pronounced Goad.

There has been many questions on this subject, but I have her mother as Catherine Goad and I don't have a father for her. Joshua Goad is her mother's dad.
Some have said that she was a Young. Kathleen Lewallen Fulwiler says that she is not.
I honestly don't know for sure, is the reason I had never answered this question. I had hoped that someone else might know more than I do about the subject. So this is all I know. Will keep searching as I have been for years on this one.
