There is a genealogy fair in Bedford, VA, Saturday, Sept 13.
Sharon Ireland will be going to this event and if the library is open she will be going there too. If anyone would like to have something looked up and copied she will be happy to do so.

Goodness, gracious, yes. There are two Wills and one would sure answer a lot of questions.
Charles Lewellen died 1804 and he left a Will. His children were probably Green B (Greenberry), James, Elizabeth, Charles, William, Green Jr but we have no way of knowing until we see that Will and its provisions. The in 1826 Mary Lewellen died and left a Will. I believe she named James and some Oliver grandchildren, but hers would help, too.
How exciting and what a wonderful opportunity. If she comes across anything at all on the Lewellens, we could use it all, and I'll gladly pay for photographing the information.

What else do you know about Charles Lewellen, when was he born? Maybe Susannah was his daughter????

Oh, yes! According to Bedford Co. Va marriage bond Aug. 8, 1789; William McIntire & Susannah Luellin; Champy Wilson, Surety.
They are my ggggrandparents, their daughter was Nancy Charlotte McIntire whom was married to Joseph Watts. Joseph Watts was the father of Daniel Columbus Renaugh Watts, D C R was the Father of Joseph Campbell Watts husband of Louisa Lewallen. Campbell and Louisa were my ggrandparents. There are 2 Lewallens in this direct line.
I have also seen Susannah name spelled Llewellyn and have seen William McIntire spelled McEntire or McIntyre. I guess we all know about all the variations.
I am looking for information of any kind on Susannah Luellin and William McIntire. I have hopes of finding out who Susannah's parents and siblings are.
