There was a Birk Luallen in the 1820 White County, Tennessee census. He had one male between 10 and 16 in his household and he was 45 and older. I didn't get the female information. Living in the same area was a Thomas Riddel, Campbell, Scott, Gamble, Swindel and Williamons.
A Thomas Lewallen married Charlotte Amanda Riddell, however, this would be long before they were even born (Thomas born about 1846).
Does anyone have any idea who Birk Luallen would have been.

I have not been able to link any other Lewellyn in White county, Tn. to my Biak (Buck or Burk) Luallen. He was in the census of 1820 having been the age of 45 or older. He had 1 son (10-16);3 daughters under 10 and 1 daughter 10-16; and a wife 45 and older. The older daughter was my gg grandmother who was born in 1805. All census say she was bon in Tn. Her tombstone says Pendleton Co. NC, but there is not a county named that but there is in SC.
Her full name was Sarah Creely LuAllen. She married William Plumlee in 1826 most likely in white Co. They left White Co by 1836 and went to Newton Co., MO for a short time before coming to Carroll Co., Ark. They were in Ark from 1840 to 1858 when they moved to Parker Co., Tx. Apparently her father Buck came with them (according to Sarah and other relatives.
Since your family came to White Co. perhaps you can help me. Where did your family migrate to? Have you heard of the name Creally or Creely? I would appreciate any help that you can give.
thanks,
