Mary Cobb has recently joined us and has just posted the following information. Can anyone help with her Sarah Llewellyn?
Here's the information on Sarah by Mary:
Hello,
I am from the line of Sarah LLEWELLYN (or another spelling) She was born 1818 in Stark Co. Ohio PARENTS UNKNOWN !
She married Charles B. COONEY 13 Mar 1836 in Cleveland, Ohio
Charles was born 18 Sep 1810 in Ohio
Sarah died 13 Apr 1872 at that time they lived in Camden, Hillsdale Co. Michigan but I have not found a death record or obit.
Charles died 19 Sep 1891 in Charlevoix, Michigan where he lived with his oldest child Rachel POTTS.
Charles & Sarah other children: Thomas E. A. COONEY (my g grandf.), Albert and Mary Ann Cook

Mary, if you'll look at Columbiana County 1820 (on the site I posted above), you'll see Abner Lewallen with 10 white people in the household. Then look at Stark County 1850 and you'll see Abner Lewallen. (Stark was formed from Columbiana.) Abner and his wife Mary were from New Jersey. I would think your Sarah was a daughter of Abner and Mary since there was a total of ten in the household in 1820.
the 1840 census for Stark County shows Abner Lewallen, Thomas Lewallen and William Lewallen. Abner is on the same census page as William Lewallen and William lives right next door to Charles Cooney, probably your Charles and Sarah.
It would appear Abner and Mary Lewallen from New Jersey were the parents of your Sarah Lewallen who married Charles Cooney.
