I have only been researching my family for a few months.   You probably have already found this on line book from the Naitional park Service.   It has a few references to Captain Daniel Llewellyn, William Claiborne and John Stith, but beyond that the detail section is an interesting capsule of the life and hardships the first colonist endured.   I will enclose the address.   Thanks.   Renee

That's a great site for any of us researching colonial history.

Thanks for post this, I am new to this, too.   When I was a teen I filled out my childhood bible and was very happy and satisfied that I had all the space filled out.   LOL   of coarse that was before computers.   Also, I don't know how I ever passed Am. History.   I guess as long as you went to class and didn't cause any problems they passed you.   I find family history addicting.   I also find other peoples family history very interesting.   I found the book from the National Park extremely interesting.   Again, thanks for sharing it.
