We've just received notice from FamilyTreeDNA that DNA test for another descendant of Wiley or Wylie Lewallen who was born ca 1795 North Carolina has been received. It was for a 12 marker test and the remainder of the 37 markers being tested should be received by mid-January. It was Cindy Lewallen's family that did the test and, as expected, it's exact with Larry Lewallen who also descends from Wylie.
Cindy, thanks for having this done. These tests help immensely.
If anyone is interested in the tests, you might want to think of having it done before the end of this month because of the price break through FamilyTreeDNA.

The test results have come back for William M. Lewallen, Cindy's brother. All 37 markers are identical to Larry Lewallen's. Both descend from Wiley Lewallen who was born ca 1795. Their line goes line this:

4. Garlon Lewallen (my grandfather) and Marion Lewallen (Larry's gr-grandfather)
