Billie Harris - Apr 4, 2009

Martha, are you related to him?   How does he fit into the Banks County genealogy?

Martha Lewallen - Apr 5, 2009

Billie, not my line but my son-in-laws.
Nelson's father was James Wafford, son of John Wofford, son of John Jackson, son of John Franklin who was the son of Joseph Lewallen b1763 father of most of the Banks County Lewallens.

Billie Harris - Apr 5, 2009

Joseph is the one who's connected to the other Lewelling, Lewallens (Anderson, Wiley, etc) isn't he?   According to DNA, that is.   Have we been able to connect that line with the others yet?

Kay McKinnon - Apr 7, 2009

Altho we can't find anything on my Wofford- Llewellen line in S C, it is interesting to see the two names connected in Ga. 200 years later.
