Yes, this is Carolyn, Robert, and Kathy (not Karen) Kathy lives in Florida. Kelley and Betty are in a nursing home in Riverside, Calif. Kelley is the last living grandson of "Cash Up" Lewellen and son of Balzada Lewellen. Kelley was 91 Nov. 2009

Do we have everything there is to know about Cash-up? If not, could Kelley give us more?
Second question. Our DNAs show two individuals who have tested for Anderson Lewellen's line. One went through Andrew, Walter Davis and William Jasper. Does Anderson (Cash-up) go rhough Andrew, too, or does he descend from Anderson some other way? I'm not of this line so that's the reason i ask. If he descends through a different son than Andrew, shouldn't we try to get a DNA from Kelley?

FIRST QUES. I believe you could still get great stories from Uncle Kelley. I haven't seen him for about 6 years, but I believe he is still able to share his memories and enjoys doing it. Body weak but mind willing.
SECOND QUES. I'm new to all of this. What do you need for his DNA. I'm sure his daughter Carolyn would gladly help us out.
LASTLY, Beyond all of this photo and geneology fun...Dang I love this man. I can tell you that my Great Uncle Kelly was always kind and sweet and shared our family history. He drove from California to Arizona when he was in his 80's to visit my mom (Mary Harris). If Cash-up was anything like Uncle Kelly it says alot about our family. We are blessed.
