Great picture, thank you for posting this. Catlett Bascom Hurt was my grandfather. His daughter Albany Hurt Ballard was my mother and a sister to your g.grandmother Vada Zelva Hurt Dean. I have never been really sure if Bascome is spelled with the e or without it. I have seen it spelled both ways. But I think in the obituary it is spelled Bascom.
