Looks like a very old cemetery and not well kept. Do you know if anyone has recorded the markers in that cemetery?

I'm not aware of any recordings. I hope to visit this cemetery again.

Mary, if there aren't too many markers, is it possible you could copy them. When I did the book on the markers of old cemeteries in Sacramento County, the information obviously was used because I've had calls and e-mails asking questions about it There have been conversations with reporters because of the tremendous vandalism in one cemetery, about neglect in another, and even phone calls from people investigating whether a building was put over old graves. But my big concern when I copied the information was that many of the markers deteriorate over the years, many are broken by vandals and animals, and it's important for interested descendants to know where their ancestors are buried. By compiling the information, at least it's preserved somewhere.

This is the Winona Cemetery ... It is usually better kept than this... but the folk in Scott County have been recovering from winter ice storm damage.
This cemetery is past New River into Winona Tennessee (also in Scott County) This is the older section. There are newer graves there.
