LEWALLEN, CHARLES died 23 Dec 2005
Charles Lewallen, 60, of Robbins, passed away December 23, 2005, at his home. Born July 14, 1945, he was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Madge Hawn Lewallen; one brother, Harlen Lewallen; and two sisters, Deanna and Yneima Lewallen. He is survived by his wife, Artie Lewallen of Rob- bins; five children: Charles Ray Lewallen and wife, Jennifer, and Madge Jane West and husband, Clay, all of Oneida, Linda Overton and husband, James, of Burrville, Harley Junior Lewallen and wife, Kim, of Illinois, and Janet Phillips and husband, Tommy, of the New River community; 16 grandchildren, two brothers, Hurst Lewallen of Burnside, Ky., and Hillard Lewallen and wife, Macel, of Wartburg; special friends: Jackie Loggins, Odeva Byrd, Clifton Kearney; and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted December 27, 2005, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida, with Bro. James West officiating. Music was provided by Sandra Newport, Michael Sexton, and Donnie Griffith. Interment followed in Lewallen Cemetery in the Coal Hill community. Stone says Dec 22, and obit says Dec 23 for date of death. Don't know which is correct.
