Hi Helen,From the info you gave we are from the same family.I have only 10 children for Fannie Mae. They are Annie Mae m. Albert Marlie Nall, George Washington m.Bernice McKee, Gladys Pearl m. Sylvester Weir, Opal Lee m. Frank Coleman, Myrtle Mae m.Charlie Pack, James William, Daniel Young,Joe Henry,Robert and Loyd Leroy m. Grace Strickland.I would like to know the name of the other child.
I remember going One time with my grandfather ,Thomas Monroe Lewallen, to visit Annie Mae Knoll and her family .
I was about 6 years old and I think one of her daughters
was named Ruthie or something like that. She was older than me and close to my older sister Clydia's age.
I decend from Thomas Monroe Lewallen m. Effie Lillie Giles ,their daughter Bertha Ruth m. Clyde Malcom Bowman,
myself Janice Sue m. Ray Eugene Gibson.Thomas Monroe would be a brother to your Fannie Mae.
My family has also heard of the Cherokee Indian connection.Although not a full blood. I have been trying to
locate members of Mary Elizabeth Kyle's family. I believe
there might be an Indian connection there.I have a picture
of Mary Elizabeth and Daniel Young and Mary's sister Maggie
and her husband Newton ( Newt ) Owens. Maggie definitley LOOKS indian.
I have quite a lot of information of Daniel Young & Mary's decendants and some on the Lewallen ancestors.Too
much to post here. Let me know and I will e-mail it to you.
I would like to have your info. on all of Fannie Mae's decendants and any other Lewallen info. and history.
Your Cousin, Janice Gibson

I am looking for decendants of John A. Lewallen born in Pope County, Arkansas about 1852. He is the son of John A. Lewallen and Mary Ann Hamilton Empson Lewallen. His brother is Daniel Young Lewallen born in Pope Co. in 1849. Daniel Y. Lewallen is my Great grand father. John married Nancy Horton on Aug. 23, 1871. The 1880 census list their children as Laura, born 1874, James W. born 1876, and Sherman born 1878. Daniel married Mary Elisabeth Kyle in 1867.

John A. Lewallen is my g-g-grandfather. He married Mary Ann Hamilton Epson in 1848. They had two sons, Daniel Young Lewallen and John A. Lewallen.
Daniel Young married Mary Elisabeth Kyle in 1868 , my great grand parents, and John A. Lewallen married Nancy Horton in August of 1871. I have a John Wesley Lewallen in my family also. His son Morris married Daniel's daughter Elsie in 1905. They had a son named John Webster in 1911 in Okla.
Hope this is of some help. Am sorry I took so long to respond.
