Description: Dr M E Thompson Clinic.

This is where I was born.   Don't believe the building is still there anymore.   A lot of my class mates were born here, two were there when I was there.   One was 3 days before me and one 3 days after. So easy for me to keep track of their birthdays.

Are you and Dorothy related?

Claudette Holt - Oct 9, 2009

Yes, we both have the Pemberton connection George W. Pemberton he was my great grandfather.

My oldest brother who is 20 years older than me, was also delivered by Dr M E Thompson. Don't think it was in this clinic.

Dr Leeds delivered my youngest son, but that was at the Scott County Hospital. 4 of my nieces were born in clinic too.

Dr M E's son Milford was also a Dr at the clinic.

It sure was a busy place, At one time we lived pretty close to it, when I was about 6-9 years old.

George W. Pemberton was my GG grandfather. He had 21 children by 3 different wives.

Claudette,

We were born in the same room, it was all the way back and on the left side, This building was much longer going backward than it looks here.

Is anyone on this site related to Dr. Thompson?

Dorothy Campbell - Oct 17, 2009

Resa,

He was the son of Lewis & Elizabeth Armelda Blakely Thompson.

He married Etta Boshears.

Was Lewis a Jr.?   My gggrandfather John Thompson had a brother named Lewis, I wonder if this is the one?   Do you know any Thompson researchers?

Dorothy Campbell - Oct 18, 2009

I don't know if Lewis was a Jr, that is as far as I have and no Jr after him. I sent you an invitation earlier today of a Wayne Co, KY site, I noticed there was a few Thompsons mentioned there. I have belonged to that site about 4 years and first time I had been on it for ages and just happen to see a thompson question and thought of you, so just sent one out to you.
