I've never seen this picture before. I guess she never did smile. I remember her as being very strict. She didn't believe that girls should wear shorts, so when ever she would come over, my sister would run and put on a pair of shorts.

Seems like a lot of women from this time period did not smile, guess they were just worn out from all the work, they had to do.
