Description: This photograph was in an album of my mother, Gertie Lewallen, daughter of Balaam Eugene Lewallen. Grandpa Eugene was a son of Robert Lewallen and Martha Ann Morris Lewallen, and grandson of Andrew Russell Lewallen and Perlicia Ann Phobe Davis of Morgan County, Tennessee.
My mother said that "Aunt Anna" was the center figure in this picture. "Alma" is written on the left lady, and "Mama" on the middle lady.
On the back is written, "This was made two years ago in my sister's back yard in Oneida. She is the baby girl."

I believe this Alma is Alma Hyder Thompson the daughter of Anna Dell Lewallen Hyder.
I believe the baby sister where the photo was made is Flossie Hyder Brown. She must be the one taking the photo.
The one with Bill written on it must be the sister Willie Mae Hyder Morris.
Anna had a son named Fred Hyder, who was my neighbor when I was growing up. He had 3 daughters and was married to Lucy Hill Hyder. One daughter named Joan was about my age, about a year older. The other two daughters were Wilma Jeanne Hyder and Clarice Hyder.

Dreama,
Your most welcome. Glad to help. I just noticed that Anna D Lewallen's husband had a half brother by the name Balaam Dillard Hyder. Since Balaam is not a common name, I found that interesting.
