In the Abilene Daily Reporter for July 26, 1912, I found where H.E. Lewallen was appointed one of the elections judges for Shep Texas

H.E. Lewellen also owned and operated a small country store in Shep, Taylor Co. TX at one time.
Henry Endler Lewellen was called "Uncle Nelder." He was killed in a automobile accident in 1939. He married Rose Bell Jones 1897 in Bell Co. TX. She was born 1879 in Bell Co. TX., and died 1959 in Shep, Taylor Co. TX.

His ful name was Henry Enlder Lewellen, was the youngest son of Issac Lewllan and Nancy "Jeffries" McDonald While visiting Melba we found this grave and shortly afterI know just who he was from my records.

I finally found his family line information. Son of Isaac James Lewellen, who was a son of John Lewellen 1812 and Delilah Reed.
