I was told this is the only Lewellen buried there. I don't know where she is buried. I am currently trying to find her death certificate however I haven't had any luck. I wonder if maybe she really is buried there and she doesn't have a headstone.

Karen, James B. Lewellen twin Nancy Almira Lewellen is my greatgrandmother. She
married my ggrandfather Thomas Riley Lewallen. A book on Anderson S. Lewellen
geneolgy complied by a Kelley Lewellen, list Susan Adaline Rainwater as being
buried in Snyder, Texas, Scurry County. Have no idea if this is true..

Yes they were twins, his wife is buried at Snyder, Surry County, Texas Information came the Rainwaters and Kelly's book.

What a neat old handmade marker. It seems to be the only one, or at least you can't see any others in the photo, so it must sit off by itself unless the others are flat to the ground. Anyway, it's different.
