Thanks so much for posting this deed placing Jesse in Anson Co. as early as 1795.   Since he was already living on the plantation when he bought it, he was probably there even earlier.
The Jesse in Wake Co., NC purchased property there December 1797 and was still   in Wake Co. in 1806 when he sold his property to Moses Roberts.

Yes, this separates the 2 Jesse Lewellens---Anson Co. & Wake Co.   This document also seems to discount the connection some made in the past that they were one & the same, & the mar. record in Wake Co for Jesse Lewellen & Delpha Forgaty, Mar. 30, 1795, placed the 2 as the same person in Anson Co.   There are so many named Jesse!

Plus, it isn't as though Anson and Wake were right next to each other.   The counties were a distance away.   Anson, incidentally, is right on the South Carolina border but I can't seem to find anything putting this family in that state.
