Description: In this photograph, my grandmother Ida Bell Miller Lewallen is front center. She died in 1938. Ida and her husband Balaam Eugene Lewallen had several children, and at least some of them are present here.
The man in center front may be Eugene, but doesn't look a lot like pictures I have seen of him. May be him, may be a family friend or relative.
Balaam Eugene was a son of Robert H.and grandson of Andrew Russell Lewalen.
If anyone recognizes any of these people, please say so!

My information about this photograph is quite limited. I have heard the comment that the little girl on the right from was Ida's daughter Golda (born 1921), and that the girl to the left of Ida was daughter Gladys (born 1916). That might help with estimating when the picture was taken.
I saw a picture of an Alexander Hewitt (Hughett?) on the Scott County web site, and I was struck by the similarity in appearance this man to the one in this picture. Also I thought there was similarity of a lady in the same picture of Hewitt to my grandmother Ida.

And the young man in the picture? Looks like a photo of grandpa Eugene at age 27. I'm going to post it just so you can see: Balaam E. Lewallen at 27.
