Weren't there several Youngs married to the Lewallens? If they're related, and I presume they are, how?
Carol, where is Malinda's grave? What cemetery and what county/state?

Hi Billie, Yes, there was several Youngs that lived in that area and they were married to some of the Lewallens. When my grandfather and Uncles went out to TN. for the family reunion my grandfather (John William Lewallen) was so surprised to find out that their was so meny Youngs in our family.
Malinda's grave is in Weiser, Idaho Washington Co.
My grandparents are thire also.

Hi Dorothy, Malinda Youngs parents are. William F. Young B-1814 Morgan Co. TN D- 1909 Milwaukee, OR. He married Celia Ann Buckston 1857 in Morgan Co. TN Celia was B-1857 and I don't have any dates of where she was born at or her death.

My records say that Malinda's mother was Sarah Jane Buxton. In fact, just last night I found a 1910 census record in which "Sarah J. Young" was listed as the mother-in-law and living with the family of Thomas E. Kelly and "Cecelia A" (that would be Malinda's sister, Celia Ann, who adopted Malinda's boy Thomas Albert after her sister died).
My records also say (though I haven't got it documented - yet) that Malinda's father had a previous wife, Celia Todd. Windell Larue's personal website which I found two years ago (couldn't say if it is still up) says Celia's maiden name was Wilhite, not Todd.
Besides, the question of Celia Young's maiden name, I would like verification on which of William F. Young's children were born to Celia and which to Sarah Jane. Anybody?
