Since she was born in Banks County, I assume she was related to the Banks County Lewallens even though the spelling of the last name was different, right?

Yes and I checked the censuses and Lewallen surname was also used. Just guessing, I think she may connect in the Perry Lewallen family. Martha may know for sure.
