I know there are 2 Andrew Russell Lewallens.   Which one is this, the older one or the younger one.   I believe they were Uncle and nephew.

This one is the one born 1849. There were three of them. The first one 1849 was the one that was a brother to my great grandmother Rhoda Ann Lewallen. I posted his head stone.

Yes, this one is the first ones nephew, he is the son of Walter Davis Lewallen who was a brother to the first one.

The third one was born 1899. He is the grandson of the second one in 1849. His father was John Granville Lewallen who was the son of the one above in the photo.

They sure didn't make it easy on us, by using a repeat of names.

The first one was my gggrandfather, father of George Todd (Lewallen).   His sister Elizabeth Lewallen Young was my ggggrandmother.   This made Andrew Lewtain Lewallen both my ggggrandfather and my gggggrandfather. I guess that make him my double greatgrandfather.   .   And if thats not bad enough Anderson Grant Lewallen is my gggggggrandfather from 3 different lines.   I got cheated on my ancestors.   LOL
