Description: William and Nancy Llewellyn. William was the son of Anderson Lewallen. William lived in Morgan Co., and later in Knox Co. where I lived as a child. The original picture (not this postcard) is hanging in my aunt's foyer. This belonged to another cousin who shared with me.

Rick, thank you so much for posting these wonderful old photos. It's really good to see what our ancestors looked like. William looks as though he might have been a tall fellow, and perhaps a lot taller than Nancy.

Wonderful old picture. Was she expecting?

Bet she was. I have always thought that when looking at this old photo. This is the best copy I have seen so far. I have a few copies too. Believe I have their headstones some place too, will have to find them.

I am 6' 4", the height gene carried down my line. My belief is her large stomach was more likely a benign tumor.

Interesting, Rick. My Lewallen grandfather was over 6 feet tall as were his sons (my uncles). I don't know how tall his dad (William Henry L.) was. Wm Henry was the grandson of Wiley Lewallen.
