Description: My grandfather John Edward Lewallen grew cotton in Texas most of his life. This is a record keeping book from the Winters, Texas Bank from 1909. The next four pages will be from inside the book and will be information on cotton crops state, US, and world from 1793 to 1909, just interesting history.

My grandfather grew cotton, too, and I remember riding on the old wagon with him to the cotton gin in Delight. I don't recall him having anything like that book though.
