Description: This photo came from one of my other MyFamily sites. It was taken by one of the researchers on that site. According to her, the cemetery is now in a forest by the Friendship Baptist Church in White Pine. Jefferson County, Tennessee.
She said she believed Pleasant Witt's wife's name on the standing stone was Elizabeth. His stone was broken and laying on the ground.
One of the other old markers out there was of Rev. Henry Randolph, son of James Randolph and Sarah Gentry Randolph.
Susannah Randolph (daughter of James and sister of Henry) married Silas Witt and one of their descendants, Amanda Witt, married William Henry Lewallen who was the son of James Calvin Lewallen and grandson of Wiley.
